Start With the Venue
This bouncy castle measures 11ft wide x 15ft long, but the complete setup needs a clear area measuring at least 14ft wide x 18ft long. The additional space accommodates the entrance, safety mats, blower and anchoring equipment.
When considering a venue, check four practical details:
- At least 14ft x 18ft of clear floor or ground space
- A ceiling height greater than 9ft 4in, with additional clearance where required
- Suitable access from the delivery vehicle to the setup area
- A standard electric socket within 50 metres
Furniture, stages and party tables must remain outside the required operating area. Outdoors, flower beds, trees, sheds and loose stone cannot be included in the measurements.
An Indoor Bouncy Castle for Colder Months
The low roof makes this design particularly useful when a birthday falls during autumn or winter. Hiring an appropriate hall removes much of the uncertainty caused by cold, rain and wind while retaining the main feature of an inflatable party.
However, a venue advertised as having a high ceiling is not automatically suitable. Measure beneath the lowest beam, light, heater or suspended decoration. These obstacles may reduce the usable clearance considerably.

- Invite children to attend in princess or fancy-dress costumes

Pause the Party When Surfaces Become Wet
Children must leave the bouncy castle if rain makes the bed or entrance slippery. Follow the electrical protection and weather instructions provided by our team, and do not handle plugs or cables with wet hands.
In suitable light-rain conditions, keeping the bouncy castle inflated can allow water to run away and help prevent the material from becoming waterlogged. Once the shower has passed, wipe the bouncing area, entrance and mats with an old towel.
Play must not resume until the surfaces are suitably dry. The bouncy castle should remain out of use during heavy rain or strong winds.
